Leader In Me
The Leader in Me is an evidence- based school improvement model that empowers students with the leadership skills they need to thrive in the 21st century. Using the 7 habits of highly effective people, the Leader In Me is based on a theory of change known as the See-Do- Get Cycle. When you change the way you See things, it influences what you Do and the results you Get.
Students will learn that everyone can be a leader, everyone has genius and that change starts with me. Teachers will work to create a culture of student empowerment where students take accountability for their actions and learning. The first 3 habits will teach students to intentionally lead their own lives and the next 3 teach them to work well with and encourage others, which begins to develop their skills for leading others.
