Position: Kindergarten Para

               St. Agnes Catholic School

Hours:  7:30-11:30 Monday-Friday on all school days. (August-May)

Supervision: This position answers directly to the classroom teacher and school administrator

Wage:  $11.25 / hour

Responsibilities:  

• Assist the teacher with building and maintaining effective instruction.
• Assist the teacher with maintaining learner-centered supportive environments.
• Support the teacher in organizing the learning experience.
• Assist the teacher with engaging children in learning experiences.
• Other duties as assigned by the teacher or building administrator.

Necessary Skills include but are not limited to:

• Experience working with children
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic
• Ability to manage children individually and in a group setting

Other Requirements:

• All employees must complete Safe Environment Training provided through the Grand Island Diocese.
• All employees must submit to a back-ground check.
• Employees may be asked to attend trainings or events outside the designated work day.

(para training, CPR/AED training, programs/concerts, etc.)
